Returns and Refunds

If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help. Please contact us, so that we can attempt to rectify any issues over the phone.
Please contact us for a return authorisation number, before returning items back to us, whatever the reason. The cost of carriage for all returns will be yours as the customer.

Return of faulty valves.
The great majority of our products were made between 30 years and 60 years ago. They are NOS ( new old stock) and unused , unless stated otherwise. We put a great deal of time, care, and attention into our testing and handling procedures, to ensure our customers are satisfied.
You have a 14 day "cooling off period" as explained elsewhere in this document. Most items also have guarantees, such as 90 days, 12 months, as specified in the catalogue. If the catalogue just says "guarantee" this means guaranteed 90 days from dispatch date.
This guarantee is in addition to, and does not affect, your legal rights in relation to the Goods that are faulty or not as described. Advice about your legal rights is available from your local Citizens' Advice Bureau or Trading Standards office.
Claims for valves that have been misused or operated outside the limits which as stated on the manufacturer’s data sheet will not be considered for replacement/refund.
We like to treat our customers well , we have hundreds of customers who return time and time again.
We appreciate all orders from our valued customers. All claims will be considered sympathetically as possible
Return of non faulty valves / cooling off period.
The following 14 day ‘cooling off period’ only applies if you are a private consumer, not a trader. A trader mean someone who is buying tubes for purposes relating to your trade, business, craft or profession.
You have a 14 calendar day cooling off period to return a valve from the date you received it, to be eligible for a refund. Your valve must be unused and returned in the same condition that you received it. Your valve must be in the original packaging. Your valve needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase. A full refund will be provided. You will be responsible for paying for your own carriage costs for returning your item. Return of faulty valves.
Once we receive your returned valve/valves, we will notify you that we have received your returned valves, and will either confirm the fault reported, or will have performed sufficient testing, proving that the valves are in good working order.
In the event that the valves returned are proved to be in working order, the valves will be returned to you, with return carriage at your cost.
Valves that are proved to be faulty, will be replaced like for like. In the event that a suitable replacement is not available, an alternative or refund will be provided.
Once a refund is authorised as per conditions stated above, we will initiate a refund to your debit/credit card (or via your original method of payment). We will issue the credit within two working days. Depending on your method of payment, you should receive the credit soon after.
You will be responsible for paying for your own carriage costs for returning your item. Carriage costs are non-refundable.
